The West Contra Costa Unified School District Board of Education includes five publicly elected members who each serve for a term of four years.

Regular, public meetings are held one-to-two times a month in the Lovonya DeJean Middle School Multipurpose Room, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All members of the public are encouraged to attend and to address the board concerning any item on the agenda or within the board’s jurisdiction. This is called making a public comment.
